I just got home from playing a costume ball with Big Roy's Band, a very fun Jazz quartet led by Roy Henderson, a New Orleans native - and you sure can tell by the way he plays. We always have a lot of fun on these gigs and play so many of my favorite tunes. Locking in rhythmically with drummer Billy Williams is so easy because he's such a good drummer and he knows the music inside out.
